Delray Beach, Fla — We recently had an opportunity to try out BurgerFi’s new BeyondMeat vegan burger and we’re glad we did. To make the burger truly vegan, one needs to order it with the vegan bun, without the slice of American cheese and hold the mayo. Select BurgerFi restaurants are offering the vegan burger and we hope a future roll out throughout the chain is in the near future.
Simply put, the burger was delicious, even by the standards of our accompanying meat-eating guests. We are glad BurgerFi is going in this direction as their other veggie burgers have always had cheese mixed in so the growing vegan community has been left out until now.
Another option BurgerFi is offering to its carb-conscious & gluten-conscious guests is to have the burger and its fixings wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun. We noticed a few other guests opting for this option.
Currently, the vegan burger is only available at a few restaurants in Florida, California, New York, and Pennsylvania. Specifically, here are the initial locations:
