What are Libertarians doing since their candidate Gary Johnson is not in tonight’s debate?

Libertarian Party presidential nominee Gary Johnson will not be on tonight’s debate stagegary_johnson_2012-jpeg alongside Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton. Johnson did not meet the criteria of having at least 15 percent in five specific polls. The Commission on Presidential Debates has ignored a petition of over 1 million Americans demanding Johnson be included in the debates while also ignoring that a majority of Americans who have been polled want to see Johnson in the debates.

There are countless parties happening across the country where Libertarians will gather to either watch the debate, participate in the Johnson campaign’s live tweets, or watching Johnson livestream on the campaign’s Facebook page. Starting at 9:00 p.m. Eastern, Johnson and Libertarian Party’s national chairman, Nicholas Sarwark, will be tweeting LIVE from Twitter Headquarters during the debate.

Today, at 2:30 p.m. Eastern, Johnson will be attending a “rally” in the “Freed Speech Zone” of Hofstra University, the location of this evening’s debate.

In Miami, Florida, supporters will be riding a bull at Kendall’s Cadillac Ranch from 8 to 11 p.m. Then others are going to abandon the whole thing all together and watch Monday Night Football with the Falcons challenging the Saints in New Orleans.
