Cigar Review: Romeo Y Julieta Havoc

Today, we review Romeo Y Julieta’s Havoc Churchill cigar. This cigar is a medium-bodied cigar with a nice Nicaraguan Habano wrapper with a smoke time of about an hour.

The cigar was introduced in 2012 and is no longer available through Altadis USA, Romeo y Julieta’s parent company. The Havoc can be bought through many online retailers for between $5 to 7 and in some cases, even less per stick.

The Havoc is well constructed with an excellent draw and an even burn. The taste was good, but not exemplary; some light coffee could be tasted and some other indistinguishable spices.

Ultimately, it’s a good smoke for the price, but nothing to get excited about. One would do better with an H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon which can be bought for about the same price and often less.
